Ken Bailey Consulting

Ken Bailey's entire professional career has been spent around machinery. Even while attending LeTourneau University in the late sixties, he worked nights in the LeTourneau factory Research & Development Lab.

After working two decades with Heavy Machines, Inc., Ken found himself involved in the construction and startup of several wood yards across North America. Ultimately, he wound up with Canal Industries for the company's port facility and family of chip mills as a Staff Engineer for Special Projects.

In September 2001, Ken established Bailey Consulting, Inc. Originally focused on woodyard equipment in general, the last two years have seen that emphasis switch to wood chip transportation technology development. In other words, he has been involved in creating machinery to decrease the cost of chip transportation.

With more than a half-dozen patents to his a name and a client list that includes practically all of the big names in the forest products industry, his reputation in the woodyard community is secure.

When not enjoying time with his granddaughter, Ken practices photography and aviation.
